Delvin's POV

I couldn't believe she just said that. I couldn't say anything back to her because it made me furious. It made me furious that she was scared. I swallowed hard and glanced at her.

“We need to go shopping before we can go to my place.” I stopped at a red light and looked at her now.

She nodded, “I need some stuff too.” she mumbled shyly and I arched my brows at her. I drove until the supermarket and we both got out of the car. She was clinging to her bag as I grabbed her hand and she smiled at me. We walked into the shop and I grabbed a basket.

“Okay we need bread and stuff like that.” I started and she nodded. We put everything into the basket. She was in silence the whole time only nodding and just smiling at me. We stopped at the women’s hygiene aisle and she was staring at the items on it. I knew what she needed now. “Beautiful?” she turned her head towards me and I could see the sadness in her beautiful blue eyes again. I dropped the basket and pulled her closer to me, resting our foreheads together.

“Delvin?” she looked at me with wide eyes.

“You got your period.” I said quietly. She stepped away from me blushing and looking around. “Don't be shy. I would buy anything for you. If you want I can pick up stuff for you.” She looked at me puzzled and I smirked. “If you send me out to buy tampons or pads....” I pointed at them on the shelves. “I would buy them for you. Because that's what you need.”

She was studying me now with smiling eyes. “I know I need to be soft with you and take care of you when you are in pain. I’ll buy you the softest blanket or the warmest...” That was when she jumped on me and kissed me and I laughed. She kissed me with full-on passion and I laughed into the kiss. “What are you doing?” I asked her, hugging her waist but she was crying.

“Stop being perfect.” she told me and I frown.

I raised an eyebrow, “Perfect?” I had a long way to go before I’d even begin to think that about myself…

“Yes.” She insisted, “You are always saying and doing the most perfect things all of the time.” She was crying hard now but I realised that it wasn’t with sadness. She was grinning.

I bit my lip, “Is that a good thing?” I asked her tentatively, because I wasn't sure if it was. She nodded her head vehemently and I grinned.

She turned back to the shelves and took two boxes of tampons and some pads. Then she went to the other aisle and got herself some medicine for period pain. I went after her, smiling to myself and grabbing a warm blanket and some crisps along with chocolates. She didn't see me do that but I stopped at the condoms aisle. Yeah, I know
